This instrument was built from a kit in the early 1970s. When the current owners purchased it, it still had its original 70s paint job which was beginning to show its age. They wanted something classic and maybe slightly French-looking without being too fussy. We came up with the red and gold color scheme and the simple festoon motif with a wreath in the center. The makeover was completed with a new stand built my Matthias Gordon-Murer.
