Colmar Ruckers with Fantasy Landscape

A Colmar Ruckers copy by Kevin Fryer featuring a sweeping fantasy landscape on the lid and hand-carved, hand-printed block papers throughout the interior.
The lid of this 2004 instrument by Kevin Fryer opens to reveal an expansive fantasy landscape — rolling hills, classical ruins, and luminous skies painted in the tradition of seventeenth-century Flemish decorative arts. The interior is lined with hand-printed papers made from blocks carved by Adrian Card, each sheet printed individually on a hand-operated printing press.
