Bosch Landscape
Oil on Masonite, 4 × 10 inches
About this work
A small landscape in the spirit of Hieronymus Bosch — a tall, slender tree rising from a rocky foreground, a wide estuary receding into a hazy distance, and in the lower right corner, one of Bosch's characteristic hybrid creatures: part animal, part vessel, wholly strange.
Painted in oil on Masonite, 4 inches by 10 inches. The custom frame was made by Peter Brodigan.
