Harpsichords
Owen Daly Italian

An Italian-style harpsichord built by Owen Daly of Salem, Oregon, decorated with putti, garlands, and classical ornament in the manner of 17th-century Italian instruments.
Owen Daly's Italian-style instrument provided the opportunity to work in a lighter, more exuberant decorative vocabulary than the Flemish tradition — putti, swags, and classical grotesques painted in a palette of sage, gold, and warm ivory.
